Hello, today we are going to show you how to add your domain email address to Gmail in very easy steps.
Your website is up and ready, we’ve set up your email account but you can’t seem to access it plus Webmail is buggy and unpleasant to visit or use also!
If this describes your situation, there is hope!
You can access your hosted email via your Gmail account using the Gmail Mail Fletcher feature. This enables you to send and receive emails directly into your Gmail account
To do this, you’ll need;
- Your email address
- The password to your email account
- A Gmail account
- Gmail opened on a computer
Once you have all this ready, simply follow the steps below.
Open your Gmail account
At the top right corner, click on the Settings icon
Select the ‘Accounts and Import’ tab
Click on ‘Add another email address’
This action creates a popup where you need to enter the ‘Name’ you’d be sending emails with and the ‘Email Address’. Ensure that ‘Treat as an alias’ is checked.
Once you’ve entered the required information, click on ‘Next Step’
The server name would be automatically generated.
Enter the ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ for the email account. The username is usualy the email address. Ensure ‘Secured connection using TLS’ is selected.
Then click on ‘Add Account’
An email would be sent to the email address containing a verification code needed to complete the process. You’d need to access the email address through webmail to retrieve the verification code and then insert it to the box.
Once you are done the email would be imported in Gmail and you’d see it listed in the Gmail windows
Hope this worked for you.
